How can I obtain this item?
You can purchase Wood Fruit the from the Black Market Chao (BMC) for 20 Silver or you can combine a Fruit with any kind of wood instead.
What's the Lore Behind this item?
Wood Fruit is harvested from special trees deep within the Mystic Ruins. It's surprisingly soft, squishy, rubbery and it smells almost like Cinnamon. Chao can't get enough of Wood Fruit and tend to eat them quickly. When a Chao smells Wood Fruit, they usually run up to get there first, holding their hands out in hopes that they'll get it.
What's the items history?
One of the most tedious things to do in Terraria is to chop down a million trees and then replant those trees and then chop down those trees. When I play Terraria, I like to chop down as few trees as possible, mostly because I like where they already are. I thought it would be a fantastic idea to add a Wood themed Chao that could help the player gather Wood and that's where Wood Fruit comes into play. Wood Fruit is the second custom Fruit to ever be added to the garden and it's seen a lot of use lately with the new Chao.
