You can purchase Cloud Fruit the from the Black Market Chao (BMC) for 60 Silver or you can combine a Fruit with a Cloud instead.
What's the Lore Behind this item?
Cloud Fruit resembles cotton candy with its sweet and soft texture as well as being very easy to pull apart. When you pull apart a Cloud Fruit, a small mist comes out and forms a Cloud nearby. The mist might be what gives Cloud Chao their Cloud like powers.
What's the items history?
When I first came up with Cloud Chao, the way to obtain them wasn't that clear. You can feed your Chao clouds from the sky but that would be way too easy. Fruit then came to mind and I went from there. While the Cloud Fruits design isn't super complicated or as great as I would like it to be, it's good enough to be the way it is for now.
