Chao Island: Rich Mahogany Wood Chao

Abilities and Stat Bonuses

Rich Mahogany Wood Chao are an Uncommon Rank Harvester Chao that drop 10 Rich Mahogany Wood for the player every 14 seconds.

How to obtain this Chao

You can obtain this Chao by feeding your Baby Boreal Wood Chao 40 Wood Fruit and 240 Rich Mahogany Wood.

Chao Lore and Personality

Wood Chao spend most of their day gnawing on the same types of trees, sticks and leaves they were fed at a young age. After they finish eating, they harvest leftover parts of the tree and give it to the gardener, as if sharing their leftover food with them. These Chao have tough skin, similar to real wood, and they're slightly heavier than your average Chao. These Chao are sluggish because of their above average weight but it makes them very strong choices for Chao Karate. Their tough skin, above average weight and hard wooden punches make them powerful combatants and very difficult to fight because they can take a lot of damage and before getting knocked off stage.

Wood Chao don't enjoy swimming or running because their hardened and heavier body makes it too difficult to move around. If a Wood Chao falls into a pool of water, they end up motionlessly floating on their back in the water and they'll stay floating there until they're either taken out by their gardener or in some cases, pulled out by other Chao. These Chao are very slow readers, writers and singers but they are extremely patient and stay at Chao kindergarten longer than most Chao, which makes them learn a little bit more than your average Chao. Wood Chao can't dance because of how difficult it is for them, so they like to sit nearby and cheer on other Chao that are dancing.

Chao History

Rich Mahogany Wood Chao are based off Rich Mahogany Wood from Vanilla Terraria.

No history except that I forgot to make this Chao and I made it last second, in the wrong order, and it will forever be in the wrong order and something that will bother me, Piers, until the end of time because of my slight OCD and desire to do everything in the proper order.
