How to obtain this Chao
You need to purchase a Seed Chao from the BMC (Black Market Chao) after you defeat Plantera and then feed that Seed Chao 15 Bottled Water and 20 Water Fruit.
Chao Lore and Personality
After 3 days of being in the floor, Sapling Chao suddenly burst out of the spot they buried in and gather nearby resources for their next evolution. They sit in small pools of water to hydrate or eat things that will continue their evolution before going back into the same exact spot they buried themselves in 3 days ago to start their next evolution. It is said that if you give the egg of a Sapling Chao to a Dirt Chao or bury the Sapling Chaos egg, its egg turn into something completely different all on its own.
Chao History
Sapling Chao are very old and complicated Chao that were added to the garden a year or two ago. Unfortunately when I first added Sapling Chao into the garden, it was just an idea for a Chao and I had no idea where I'd go with them but now that it's been more than a year or two, I finally know their next steps and it's going to be huge.
