Chao Lore and Personality
These Chao completely sleep the day off and only start their activity at night. Come night time, these Chao fly around the garden, looking for the perfect spot to remain idle until their gardener comes to feed or interact with them. They're easy to find because of the faint light they emit at night. If the gardener doesn't interact with them at night, they'll look for something to eat and play around until sunrise.
Abilities and Stat Bonuses
Baby Star Chao only buff the player at night and are powerless during the day. At night, they increase the players Maximum Mana by 20, their Magic Damage by 2%, their Magic Regeneration by 2% and they grant immunity to fall damage.
How to obtain this Chao
You can obtain a Baby Star Chao by giving a Default, Colorless or Colored Chao of your choice 40 Fallen Stars and 10 Stars in a bottle.
Chao History
The Star Chao is one of the oldest Chao designs in the mod. It was a very complicated Chao to make, despite its now simple appearance. It was originally designed by Dylan, the owner of the Ultranium Mod. When it was originally made, it wasn't made with much of a direction and it was more of an idea, with the Chaos head being an actual Star from Terraria which needed some editing for it to fit in, editing I wasn't able to do yet. At the time the first Star Chao was made, I didn't even know how to properly recolor a Chao, let alone edit one and I didn't want to add a Chao that wasn't finished, so Star Chao were left out of the mod for a full year until I had the experience to edit and add them into the garden. It was hard at first and I was close to scrapping their design because of how complicated the original was and how unskilled I was at the time but thankfully I one day stumbled upon them and I was able to give them the needed love!
