Chao Lore and Personality
Baby Ebon Wood Chao spend most of their day idling in the sun and chewing on wood and other greenery around them. Even though they aren't very strong yet, after eating, they do their best to gather as much wood as they can carry to give to the gardener as a kind gift or as an offering of friendship in attempts to make them happy. Baby Ebon Wood Chao have tougher skin than your average Chao, similar to real wood yet still very smooth, and their fists are a mixture of hard and soft. Baby Ebon Wood Chao are very sluggish but decent choices for Chao Karate because of their slightly hardened skin and semi hard wooden punches.
Baby Ebon Wood Chao don't enjoy swimming because they can't move their arms fast enough, so they end up motionlessly floating in the water, waiting to be picked up and taken out by their gardener or in some cases, other Chao. Baby Ebon Wood Chao are very enthusiastic yet very slow readers, writers, dancers and singers but they are extremely patient and stay at Chao kindergarten longer than most Chao, which makes them learn a little bit more than your average Chao.

Baby Ebon Wood Chao are based off Ebonwood from Vanilla Terraria.
For years, I've wanted to create a wood gathering Chao but I constantly failed because of its design. I had the ability to easily code it in but the design is always what bothered me. I think Baby Ebon Wood Chao have very cute and simple designs and because of them, we finally have easy to obtain wood gathering Chao that aren't the Stump Chao, which I'm happy about.
